12 November 2018, London & New York: Dinosaur Merchant Bank Ltd. (DMBL), the independent London challenger bank and a subsidiary of Dinosaur Group Holdings LLC., has appointed Jonathan Bloch, the founder and CEO of Exchange Data International (EDI), as non-executive director. Headquartered in London, DMBL specialises in institutional investing and finance, with a focus on emerging and frontier markets and clients in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Bloch has many years’ experience in technology and data and set up EDI, a successful provider of securities reference data, in 1994. He is known for challenging established business practices and has a successful record as a disruptor in the financial markets. Bloch brings a valuable combination of perspective and experience to his role on the DMBL Board, having provided consultancy to trade associations, investment and financial services companies and holding non-exec directorships at several software and technology firms. He has been the chairman of Company Watch (Holdings) Limited since 2011.
